London Learning Consortium

London Learning Consortium is a government funded Community Interest Company. LLC represents the most disadvantaged groups (including the homeless), in the region and provides learning, skills and support in the form of apprenticeships and traineeships. It also encourages and works with organisations to offer apprenticeships to people of all ages. Jobs creation and opportunities for all is something Deborah is passionate about.

Deborah is serves in strategic advisory capacity on the Board of Directors, 'Mergers &;Acquisitions Committee' and 'Finance & Resources Committee', as a Non-Executive Director. She has also served over 2-years on the 'Quality & Curriculum Committee'. As well ensuring good governance, advising on business & marketing strategy, she has delivered valuable input on risk management issues on all areas related to the business, as well as supporting and advising on funding and revenue generation from non-governmental sources.

Deborah dedicates around 1-2 days a month to LLC attending monthly board meetings, strategy meetings and committees to ensure good governance, deliver appropriate oversight, scrutiny and challenge to the CEO and Executive team in meeting their agreed goals and objectives, and monitoring the reporting of performance. She also acts as an ambassador for the organisation alongside other board members. Visit London Learning Consortium
